today is teachers' day celebration. i performed on stage. it was my second performance since i started working here. i was very excited and enjoyed myself a lot. students and teachers gave positive comments on my performance. i sang two songs. the first song was "At your side", a singing performance with slide show. i have included pictures of students and teachers on the slide. students paid extra attention on it, hoping to see their faces there. thanks to my hubby for his effort to produce this video. my second performance was singing "Take a bow" with two of my students from 1B. it was a heartbroken song. it was about a girl being lied by her boyfriend. so, before the singing, my students did some acting on stage. thanks to Chloe, Yi Shen and Ching Yan. actually they were not prepared , but they were still willing to join me. it was done last minute. however, really thanks to you guys. i enjoyed singing on stage with the company with you guys. love ya.. Then, we took some pictures among ourselves.

after the performances, we headed for our lunch prepared by the SM3 students. it was a memorable day. thanks for the sweet memories. next, we had competitions. i took part in "completing the song lyrics" and "guessing the song" competitions. it was fun. i prefer the first competition because i couldn't guess any songs from the second competition at all. it was tough. they did not put the original song but the "modified songs". it was quite humorous. one of the member from my group was an expert. he could guess almost every songs. i think he score the most marks. well, it's just a game... and i have tried my best.. the most important thing is i did enjoyed myself.

Here, i would like to take an opportunity to thank all the students for the effort and don't forget.. thank you for the gifts too... love you always. happy teachers' day..

just finished marking exam papers. so release.. felt so much lighter. now only concentrating on marks calculation. i have a combination of both happy and sad mood. happy because most of my students tried in their essay writing paper. i told them marks are not important. the most important is their habit to keep improving and keep trying. On the other hand, i felt sad because i wrongly trusted a student to complete a task... an important task. i always trust my student but he has promised me since two months ago to complete his task. he has been giving excuses, still i trust him so much, hoping for him to change.. i just hope he'll realise that. today, i started to let it be... let him be punished. he broke his promise and trust from me. i'm very heart broken and dissappointed. maybe punishing will realise him.

tomorrow is our teachers' day celebration. i'm quite nervous because i'm participating in some performances and competitions. well, this is my second time during my 4 years of teaching here... since my first performance in 2007. i love being on stage... i love the round applause... i love the cheering... i love to show talents and share inspirations on stage... i feel like a superstar when i performed on stage... so, if it is awful... just close one eye and one ear...

i always encourage my students to be on stage and i will lead them to be the role model of everyone.... so, students..... keep it up!!! oh yes!!!!

today is the 3rd day of examination. being an invigilator, i have a chance to meet my ex-students. i've have noticed few things.. my students are being more matured than before.. they seem to be more serious in their studies...this is good news. maybe time tells it all. when someone grows older, he / she is definitely going to grow up... when i see all these poitive changes on my students, my reaction..... proud and satisfied...

however, i'm quite sad today because one of my teacher has lost his class fund worth of RM500. that's a big amount of money! he suspected someone stole it yesterday. i felt sorry for him. i just hope none of my student involved in the stealing. well, just hoping for the best to come!!

today is actually Malaysian's teachers' day. so, to all teachers out there, happy teachers' day. you are really someone great and highly respected for all the efforts you have contributed so far. be proud of yourself. some of my colleagues (teachers) went out to "celebrate" together. i was invited too but i told them that i wanted to babysit my kids. i think it's good to think positively after all the hard work daily. we should spend some time for ourselves! Bravo, teachers!!

we are still having examination today. i noticed some students really didn't take examination seriously. they give up easily. whatever they couldn't do, they just give up. i don't understand why. for me, i think every opportunity should be grabbed properly. if we realise it later, it might be a little too late. i just hope that they realise it earlier before it's too late! Gambateh!!
